Veteran Ramp

Aging In Place homeowner 016-2024, a Vietnam Veteran, recently found himself in need of a helping hand. Proud of the cheery, yellow house that he and his wife call home, finances, and physical limitations prevented him from constructing the ramp he needed, threatening his ability to live independently. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Hall County’s group of Faithful Few volunteers, and a team build of representatives from AR Homes by RLW Homes, this homeowner received a newly constructed accessibility ramp, empowering him to soak up the sunshine in his driveway after thirty-eight days of being inside without the ability to maneuver his front porch.
